You want to know the total amount refunded, when it should be sent to lien holder. Hopefully knocking some months off the backend of the term. Once canceled, they remaining amount will go-to the lien holder and pay towards principal of the loan. Yes there are cancellation fees no one knows about. So the refund should 1.5k minus any cancelling fees. So if you paid $3k for it and financed at 60months. Not exactly expenses used, but how much time you have vs remaining.
